Call of Duty WWII still holds the top spot on the UK sales chart

Call of Duty WWII managed to hold on to the top of the UK sales chart for two weeks in a row. FIFA 18 climbs back up to number two. Assassin's Creed Origins experiences a 38 percent drop in sales.

Call of Duty WWII has been out for two full weeks now and in that time the game managed to stay . Activision's shooter managed to have a second week better than that of FIFA 18, and by doing that, COD WWII became the title with the highest selling second week in the last two years. 

Need for Speed Payback debuted at number 4, which is one place below what its predecessor form 2015 managed to achieve. For a list of NFS games that got better reviews than Payback, please go .

This week, Sega is the one with multiple games in the top 10. Sonic Forces and Football Manager 2018 found their place at numbers five and 10 respectively. Is it possible the inclusion of the " " mechanic had some effect on the figures? Oh there's no doubt about it.

As far as the rest of the top 10 goes, Super Mario Odyssey fell to number six since last week, and Forza Motorsport 7 stood its ground. Even though it was an broke into the top 40, only to land a spot at number 39.
