Raven Software have just rolled out a quick update that will be addressing Call of Duty: Warzone's disappearing hit markers and a few other multiplayers issues.
The update rolled out momentarily so it should be live for all Call of Duty: Warzone players.
According to the tweeted patch notes, the update does the following:
- Fixed issue causing hit markers to not appear consistently
- Fixed issue with weapon XP not awarding as intended in MW multiplayer
- Fixed issue with UI elements on the Loadout Menu
- Updated Valentine's weekend playlist names
Disappearing hit markers have been an issue for some time, but the team was kept busy by the infinite stim and other Call of Duty: Warzone bugs. Infinite stim was returning for the fourth time, a particularly difficult to squash kind of bug.
Of course, Call of Duty: Warzone has been quite the topic today for a different sort of reason. We're talking about the Zombies trial machine that found its way into Warzone Rumble's Hospital Hills.
Many players think that this is the tease to the rumoured Outbreak mode , which is said to be bringing an open-world Zombies map.
According to the rumours, the new Zombies map will be featuring free-roam areas similar to Bungie's Destiny 2, and the similarities include things like world events and missions.
And, thanks to today's patch, Call of Duty: Warzone players will also be rid of disappearing hit markers, so hopefully, this appeases the grievance squadron.
