It looks like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5 is set to go live on August 5, if the latest tease from streamer Nickmers is legit. Streamer shared a short video for Season 5, which also includes the date and time of the launch.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 4 is currently underway but soon, players will get another fresh batch of free content when the fifth season officially arrives. Activision are yet to officially announce Season 5 update and talk about everything they plan to introduce including new maps, weapons and operators among other things.
However, thanks to a streamer Nickmers, who got his hands on a Season 5 teaser video, we now know that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone Season 5 will kick off on August 5, 2020. Here is the teaser video with a start date and time.
As you can see from the video, a train is coming to Verdansk, which some earlier rumours already revealed. It remains to be seen how Infinity Ward decided to implement this feature. Could this be a loot train? Or simply another way to travel across the map? We'll have to wait a couple of more weeks to find out.
Also, there are rumours floating around suggesting that the stadium is finally opening with the fifth season. Activision even teased players with recent tweet:
All in all, we cannot wait to see what Infinity Ward and Activision have in store for the Season 5. Expect a lot of new content along with some map changes for Warzone, which will hopefully include the stadium and loot train.
