Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 is finally coming to a halt on February 7. While Season 1 introduced a lot of content, including Ranked Play for Modern Warfare 3, players were eager to see what's next for Call of Duty once the massive new update arrives later this month.
With their recent blog post, Sledgehammer Games have revealed everything you need to know about Season 2 content drop. Aside from massive Zombies content drop and new modes for Warzone 2, Modern Warfare 3 is also set to receive new maps, modes and weapons.
All New Aftermarket Parts in Season 2
Alongside the new weapons added to the game as a part of the Season 2 battle pass, players are also getting seven brand-new aftermarket parts. These new aftermarket parts will be available to unlock through the battle pass and weekly challenges throughout the season.
The weapons each aftermarket part attaches to are listed below:
1. JAK Burnout (Battle Pass Unlock) - Weapon: Holger 26 (LMG)
When attached, it provides the Holger 26 a select fire mode called JAK Burnout that provides a dramatically increased fire rate but can overheat and expand the barrel, introducing spread.
2. JAK Tyrant 762 Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock) - Weapon: Longbow (Sniper Rifle)
A caliber Conversion Kit that swaps out the receiver and magazine to accommodate 7.62 BLK ammunition for a harder-hitting, subsonic weapon.
3. JAK Backsaw Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock) - Weapon: Holger 556 (AR)
A Conversion Kit focused on making the Holger 556 more maneuverable. The stock is removed entirely for faster, more agile tactics.
4. JAK Limb Ripper (Weekly Challenge Unlock) - Weapon: Underbarrel Attachment, several weapons
Unrivaled at creating close-quarters carnage, this underbarrel chainsaw makes quick and messy work of anyone foolish enough to stand in your way.
5. JAK Maglift Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock) - Weapon: Haymaker (Shotgun)
This weapon modification reinforces the shotgun's magwell, bolt, and trigger to accommodate the extra-large drum magazine.
6. JAK Outlaw-277 Kit (Weekly Challenge Unlock) - Weapon: BAS-B (Battle Rifle)
This Conversion Kit transforms the BAS-B into a lever-action rifle, slowing the fire rate but vastly improving accuracy for deadlier precision.
7. JAK Glassless Optic (Weekly Challenge Unlock) - Weapon: Optic Attachment, several weapons
This small, glassless reflex optic offers a crisp and clear sight picture for snappy target acquisition.
The brand-new aftermarket parts will be available worldwide with the launch of Season 2 on February 7 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
