Prepare for a spine-chilling experience in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone as Activision launch a bone-chilling Halloween event. There is a nightmarish twist, with themed skins and an eerie battlefield.

Activision have just released a trailer for the newest event coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone.

What can be seen from the trailer is that there will be a Halloween event featuring some themed skins and the map will be accordingly adjusted to fully match the spirit of Halloween with a fire skull trail, a spooky historic building and, of course, a cult ritual of some sort.

The event will be going on at night and will probably take the form of a side quest. Additionally, there will be some sort of demonic zombie MPCs that will be hunting the players down, along with heavy NPCs that will be harder to eliminate.

Aside from the NPCs, the players will have the chance to purchase themed skins for their characters, which will include cool VFX along with finishers that represent Halloween in their own unique and cool way.

Some of the new skins that can be seen in the trailer are Ash Williams from the show and game Evil Dead, Alcuard, Spawn, and Lilith, but Activision have also incorporated the skins from the previous events, implying that they will most likely be returning to the store as well for players to add to their collection.

The event will go live today, October 17, and will last until the end of the month. Additionally, the event will be free for everyone to take part in and will not require any payments aside from the skins, whose prices are yet to be known.
