Call of Duty Mobile has been quite popular with players, and Activision clearly think it's time to take this relationship to the new level.
"Starting on April 30, Call of Duty: Mobile kicks off its first official esports tournament: Call of Duty®: Mobile World Championship 2020 Tournament in collaboration with Sony Mobile", they wrote.
If you want to take part in the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2020 Tournament, you need to achieve multiplayer rank of veteran or higher.
Thankfully, there's still time for you to improve your rank in Call of Duty Mobile, so if you're close to hitting veteran, it's time for some last-minute grinding. Activision reminded that all players start at Rookie I, and that reaching Veteran I only takes a few ranks.
Note that players need to rank up in Multiplayer to be eligible for the tournament, as Battle Royale ranking won't do.
"After you've mastered the beginning stages of the tournament, players will have a chance to compete for their share of $1 million in total prizes. It all starts online on April 30", Activision wrote.
We're yet to find out the exact competition structure of the Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2020 Tournament, but the games social channels should reveal more info in the following days.
So, if you want to take part in Call of Duty Mobile World Championship 2020 Tournament and think you're worth your share of the $1 million, then get to practising and/or achieving that Veteran I rank.
