Season 5 named Steel Legion has arrived to Call of Duty: Mobile on all platforms. The update brings a ton of fresh content including a brand new battle pass with a lot of new items to unlock, a new map, game mode and more.

Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 is now live. The fifth major content update for Activision's mega-popular mobile version of the iconic franchise introduces a wide variety of fresh content. From new map, game modes to new weapons to dominate the battlefield.

Battle Pass

As always, you have two battle pass systems - a free and paid one. In the free battle pass, you can earn a new submachine gun GKS and a new Killstreak - the Shock RC, which is a remote-controlled car that can shock and stun enemies on contact.

Paid battle pass rewards you with Reaper, an experimental war robot and David Mason from Black Ops 2. Check them out below. New Magmacomb weapons include M4, M21 EBR, AK-117 and are unlocked at Tier 1, 20 and 30, respectively.

Gunfight-like game mode

It the new game mode named 2v2 Showdown, you and your buddy will get to face off against another duo in a single-elimination showdown with random loadouts that change every two matches. It is basically a Gunfight mode from Modern Warfare.

2v2 Showdown will be available for a limited time only.

New map

Meltdown is a medium-sized industrial map with a mostly symmetrical layout in the classic three-lane design. You can see it in the image below. Those who played Black Ops 2 will recognize it instantly since it is one of the most popular maps from Black Ops 2.
