Activision have revealed their plans for Call of Duty: Mobile Season 3 that is coming soon. Two biggest additions are fast-paced Multiplayer mode named Rapid Fire and the iconic Modern Warfare 2 map named Scrapyard.
Call of Duty: Mobile has been nothing but success for the publisher Activision ever since the free-to-play title launched in early October 2019. The game smashed many records and it's trading blows and even beating its main competitors PUBG Mobile and Fortnite in certain download numbers stats.
As expected, Activision have supported the game with fresh content since the launch and they will only look to increase that support in the future with a ton of other content. Currently, Call of Duty: Mobile is in its second season and today, Activision have revealed their plans for Season 3, which is coming soon.
The publisher did not reveal all the details before the patch notes and all the announcements for the release go live, but they gave a taste of what is coming in next update and particularly what will immediately be available in Multiplayer.
First up, we have Rapid Fire mode for Multiplayer. This fast-paced and action-packed mode will be giving you infinite ammo, infinite grenades, sped up operator skill cooldowns, and faster-recharging scorestreaks. It's a limited-time mode that will be available for all to try on Season 3 launch.
Second, the iconic Scrapyard is coming. It's a recreation of the classic three-lane Modern Warfare 2 map, which you can see in the image above. It is a medium-sized map that provides plenty of opportunities for close to mid-range combat. This will be the first Multiplayer map to release in Season 3 say Activision, suggesting that a lot more is coming in the near future.
Call of Duty: Mobile Season 3 should is set to launch in mid-late January 2020. You can expect new battle pass items and everything else that comes with a new season.
