One of the biggest advantages of playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC is the Field of View (FOV) slider. This feature allows PC players to expand their view and spot the enemy sooner and quicker, which ultimately results in an unfair advantage over console players who had to deal with locked FOV.
Luckily, the FOV slider will be coming to Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. Treyarch confirmed this with a simple tweet, which you can check out below.
It's safe to say that with this new feature, console players will find playing Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War much easier. However, it will be interesting to see if increasing the view will have an impact on performance since on PC, a small FPS drow is usually the price for increased field of view.
Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War is officially hitting the shelves on November 13, 2020, for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. The open beta for the game goes live tomorrow on PlayStation 4 while PC and Xbox One players will get to join the action on October 15, 2020. More on that here.
