War never changes, but Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War playlists certainly do, as Treyarch rolled out some fresh ones, along with two Warzone game modes.
As you can see, Treyarch made sure to cover as many flavours of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone combat as possible, with the latest update adding the following multiplayer playlists:
- Express 24/7
- Endurance Mode
- 3v3 Gunfight Snipers Only
On top of that, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone are shaking things up with Armored Royale, i.e. Verdansk Battle Royale, and Resurgence Trios, which take place on Rebirth Island.
Treyarch have also pushed a mid-season update to Call of Duty: Warzone, which we hope finally addresses the game's infinite stim bug. Both Infinity Ward and Treyarch have tried their best to eradicate the nasty glitch, but the elusive little thing has now been back more times than the Terminator.
The two have had a total of four attempts, neither of which ended up working, but Treyarch are confident they've nailed it this time.
"Issue stemmed from player getting stuck in throwback state after throwing back a live grenade", they wrote in the patch notes. We should know soon enough as the update rolled out a few hours ago. Yeah, listen for Hulk-like roars - if you hear them, it's not fixed.
Treyarch also tweaked match bonus and kill XP reward of Kingslayer mode in order to bring it in line with Verdansk BR. Both these changes are part of the studio's ongoing effort to normalise XP rewards across all the modes, but you can check out the patch notes for yourself.
