Treyarch have introduced another content update to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and it's a pretty big one. Named Operation Dark Divide, the update adds new vehicles including tanks, new game modes, weapons and more.
Many Call of Duty players are eagerly awaiting the next instalment in the series - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - but until the game officially arrives, the most recent title from the popular shooter franchise is Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and judging by the latest content drop, it's going nowhere anytime soon.
Treyarch have introduced Operation Dark Divide, which arrives first to PlayStation 4 and week later to other platforms as usual. The new operation marks the beginning of a split amongst the Specialists, pitting heroes against villains and also brings the climax of the Aether Zombies storyline.
In Blackout, there's a new game mode named Heavy Metal Heroes. In this mode, players get thrust jumping and ramps around the map as well as heroic starting loadouts. Heavy Metal Heroes features vehicle-intensive combat between armoured ARAVs, ATVs, motorcycles, and tanks.
The Tank, as expected, packs a powerful punch among the vehicles in Blackout. It supports two players - a driver and a passenger in the gunner position. Players can spawn tanks by calling in an aircraft with the Flare Gun.
As for the new weapons, Operation Dark Divide brings two more wonder weapons from the Zombies universe - the Savage Impaler and Winter’s Fury. There's also a brand new map named The Lair. It's an uncharted volcanic island where the evil organisation Arkadeus is building its death laser. Players can stop Arkadeus' plot or use its deadly laser to vaporise the opponents.
Players who own the Black Ops Pass are getting the final chapter in the Zombies Aether storyline - Tag Der Toten is available now. By the looks of it, the crew of the Victis are off to Siberia to fight against even more zombies as they uncover secrets.
