1C Game Studios hit a rough patch with the release of the new PvEvP game mode, Threshold, in Caliber.
There is a pile of issues with it, from balancing to technical issues, but the most important one was that people couldn't respawn after getting killed, which is obviously game-breaking.
On July 24, 2023, the devs announced that the bug had been fixed but one day later they figured out this is not exactly true.
In a post on July 25, 1C noted that the issue still persists in some scenarios and they will need more time to fix it because the time is having a hard time with reproducing the bug.
Therefore, they don't have a starting point and finding the source of the problem will be harder than expected.
Unfortunately, even when or if the bug gets fixed, Threshold still suffers from a multitude of issues, such as the mode being a nightmare for solo players, frustrations with RPG enemies spawning right on top of you while you are trying to fight the enemy team and the frequent leavers.
As such, many players in the community just can't wait for the event to be over and to return to the regular game modes that are actually fun, without being blackmailed to play Threshold due to higher Token yields.
