Awe Interactive released the Overdrive update for BPM: Bullets Per Minute, bringing a ton of new content, including five playable characters.
BPM: Overdrive update has kicked in and the developers are welcoming five new characters into the game. That pretty much means five new ways to experience it, adding even more replayability but if that wasn't enough there are also three new weapons. Considering the way weapons influence BPM, this means even more variety in each second of your shooting galore.
Still not metal enough for you? Well, there is also a new chapter and two new difficulties to choose from - Practice and Hellish. Just in case the latter is not clear enough, it's the hardest difficulty so far.
Awe Interactive didn't stop there and they decided to add a ton of other new stuff:
- New achievements
- Over 20 new items
- New abilities
- New enemies
- New unique room types
- A new boss
- Gameplay balancing
- Trials (Items that make your runs more challenging)
- Ultrawide FOV support
- Per chapter hue slider (change colour of filter)
- Optimisation
- New challenges
- Save game stability fixes
- Crash fixesLevel fixes
- Asgard has been tweaked
- New rooms added
- Raygun charge time shortened
- Lighting changes
- Little changes everywhere
- New floor modifiers
- Floor entry blur shorter
- Windows darkened in Dark floor modifier
- Some sounds tweaked
- Gambling machine repurposed
That's quite the block of text there and they aren't even charging an arm and a leg for it. Quite weird for the modern gaming industry standards. Then again, it's the last big update the game is getting so it's safe to say support is going out with a bang.
