After one-week of PS4 exclusivity, the new mode for Black Ops 4's Blackout is now live on PC and Xbox One. Along with 3 new vehicles and other items, the new patch also includes some weapon tuning changes and League Play ruleset update.

Since the last week's update, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 players on PlayStation 4 have been enjoying the new, intense Blackout mode called Hot Pursuit. Just like with every Black Ops 4 update, the new content has now arrived to both PC and Xbox One after a one-week exclusivity on Sony's flaghsip console.

If you missed the patch notes from last week, Hot Pursuit is themed around police cars and quasi-robbers and it adds three new special vehicles to Blackout - the SUV, Muscle Car, and PBR. Each of these vehicles has its own unique abilities.

Muscle Cars can spot nearby Supply Stashes or Supply Drops, while players can use police vehicles with built-in Sensor Darts to detect occupied Muscle Cars.

While the new cars will certainly spice things up in the battle royale arena, Hot Pursuit has also introduced changes to collapse and respawn which is sure to bring about even more intense matches.

The circle is much faster now and damage received outside the zone will drain your health quicker than ever before, while Down But Not Out will give players MX9 submachine gun and armour on each respawn. Treyarch really went all out to create one of the most chaotic battle royale experiences.

Along with the new mode, the patch also includes a few tweaks to some weapons along with a new set of rules to Black Ops 4's competitive mode League Play and CWL.

The Saug 9mm ADS move speed has been increased when using the stock attachment to make the SMG class stand up against assault rifles in competitive play. Similarly, Treyarch also reduced the Annihilator's both firing and earn rate to bring it more in line with the rest of the Specialist Weapons included in the latest CWL ruleset.

After listening to players' feedback, Treyarch decided to add Zero to the list of playable Specialists in the CWL ruleset. On top of that, the Drone Squad, Sniper’s Nest, and Strike Team have been added to the list of restricted Scorestreaks in said ruleset. And last but not least, teamkillers will now be kicked from the game after multiple intentional teamkills.
