Quantic Dream made the demo for Beyond: Two Souls available on PC recently, not long after Heavy Rain was officially released. It will probably serve as promotional material on top of letting players judge whether they want to buy it.
Beyond: Two Souls will be available on PC only through Epic Games Store, just like all the other Quantic Dream games. Technically, only Heavy Rain was released so far but they are going to release three games in total.
The second game coming to PC is evidently Beyond: Two Souls and interested players can now try it out for free.
For those unacquainted, it is another one in the line of Quantic's games that are close to interactive movies as they put a lot of emphasis on emotional moments and character expression and not that much on gameplay. Telltale and DONTNOD's titles are probably the best reference point.
In the case of Beyond: Two Souls, Quantic especially leaned on the movie aspects with two Hollywood actors, Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, in the lead roles.
Just like Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls port will conform to the PC players' norms, even those with high-end rigs. 4K in 60 FPS will be available, although there is no word if that will be the frame rate cap since it's not ideal for those with 144 Hz monitors.
The story itself is about Jodie Holmes (Ellen Page) who possesses paranormal powers she does not understand. Two doctors help her control them but CIA wants a piece of paranormal cake and all Hell breaks loose soon after. There are several endings, depending on the player's choices.
