Episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within is set for a release in the first week of October. The episode is titled 'The Pact' and will feature Telltale's Harley Quinn. Episode one and two will become available for iOS and Android-based devices on the same day.
Episode two of Batman: The Enemy Within just got a shiny new trailer. Actually, that's a lie. The new trailer is gritty and dark, but hey, it's for Batman, not My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Batman: The Enemy Within is a new five-part episodic game series that continues Telltale's take on the Caped Crusader.
Episode two brings Harley Quinn along for the ride: "In keeping with our efforts to create our own unique take on the Batman canon, we've worked hard to craft an interpretation of the character that captures her essential qualities while still framing her in a new way. The power dynamic between Harley and 'John Doe' should prove especially...intriguing."
The synopsis for The Pact reads: "The death of a villain at the hands of a mysterious assassin was just the beginning. As explosions rock Gotham, Batman races to meet a new foe, but encounters a force that may cause even the Dark Knight to fall. In the guise of the billionaire, Bruce meets John Doe's 'friends' and becomes enmeshed in a plot where the only way out is to go deeper in. But at what cost?"
Episode two: The Pact, launches on 03 October on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Mac. Additionally, both episodes will become available on iOS and Android-based devices the same day. Going forward, new episodes will launch on the same day for all platforms.
A special 'Season Pass Disc' for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will be available at retailers starting on 06 October in Europe. The disc includes the first episode of the season, as well as download access to all subsequent episodes as they are released. The 'Crowd Play' feature will be included.
