Bandai Namco took to social media to announce their new Code Vein promotion in the US region. The publisher will give a free copy of the game to anyone who donates blood as part of the Code Vein Blood Bank .
Code Vein, Bandai Namco's vampire action RPG is just around the corner now and the publisher will be promoting the game this week on TwitchCon with a quite unique event - a blood drive that will let everyone who participates win a free copy of the anime Dark Souls.
Bandai Namco announced the Code Vein Blood Bank via their social media - it's set to take place on Friday, 27 September 2019 in San Diego, California from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM PT. The publisher are hosting the event in conjunction with American Red Cross and will be gifting every blood donor a free copy of the game along with "a promo blood kit".
It's a well-fitting promotion for the game, which is Vampire-themed and of course, more importantly, it's a fantastic cause by Bandai Namco so hats off for that. Here's what Bandai Namco said in their announcement:
"The Lost aren't the only ones who need your blood! On September 27th, celebrate the Code Vein launch by donating blood to those in need," it's written on Twitter.
If you want to participate in the cause and get a free copy of the game, just go to the American Red Cross website to pre-register for the event and learn more about the Blood Drive.
As for the game, you can try it out for free on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One since Bandai Namco released multiple Code Vein demos to give excited players a taste of what exactly they can expect from the game once it releases. Sadly, the demo is not available on PC.
Speaking about the release, Code Vein is officially hitting the shelves on 27 September 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more Code Vein news, here's everything we know about the game so far .
