Pre-installed PlayStation 5 title Astro's Playroom will be filled with collectables and can be beaten in four to five hours of playtime. On top of this, it features time attack mode and online ranking system.

Astro's Playroom, the upcoming 3D platformer from ASOBI Team, which comes pre-installed on every PlayStation 5 console is just one of the next-gen games that we will get to try next month. Today, however, we have some brand new details about this small title.

In the latest interview with Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Creative Director Nicolas Doucet talked about Astro's Playroom and some of the features that are included in the game. He also confirmed the game's length - you'll be able to beat it in four to five hours.

Astro's Playroom also comes with time attack mode and online ranking system so you can compete against other PlayStation 5 players and compare your results with the world. Last but not least, the game will be filled with collectables which suggest it could have a platinum trophy but this is yet to be confirmed by the devs. Here's is the full quote from the interview, translated by orzkare .

"I think it's roughly 4-5 hours to play through and complete the game in one sitting. In addition, there are a lot of homages to the 25 years of PlayStation history hidden throughout the game. There are collectables among them, and a lot of artefacts and puzzle pieces to collect, which is a lot of fun. Also, I can't go into detail, but there's a surprise for PlayStation fans if you complete them all."

You can find the full interview here . Keep in mind that it's in Japanese so you'll have to use machine translation if your Japanese is a bit rusty like ours.
