It seems that Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC Siege of Paris will be coming sooner than expected if the leaked image from the Xbox store is legit. Apparently, the release date is set for August 5, 2021.
Ubisoft's Viking-themed action-adventure Assassin's Creed Valhalla is set to receive a couple of more big story expansions and the first one will be Siege of Paris, taking players to the capital of France with new areas to explore and characters to meet.
Ubisoft are yet to reveal when exactly they plan to release this upcoming DLC though but we know Siege of Paris should start sometime this summer.
The most recent message that was spotted on the Xbox Store also correlates with Ubisoft's Summer 2021 release window. Spotted by an Assassin's Creed Valhalla player Lorenzo and shared by CriptAssassINI Twitter profile, the message states that Siege of Paris will be launching on August 5, 2021.
Now, keep in mind that it's entirely possible that this screenshot has been faked in some way or even if it's legit, the date could be just a simple placeholder. The date seems a bit unrealistic since it's coming way too soon. Ubisoft are yet to talk about the release date and show us a proper gameplay demo which is why we believe that August 5 probably is not the release date for Siege of Paris.
Of course, we would love it if Ubisoft just dropped an official announcement confirming the release date and proving us wrong. The small bits of Siege of Paris gameplay that we've seen during Ubisoft Connect certainly looked awesome and we're excited to experience it ourselves.
