Cyclops boss added to Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

Ubisoft have added more content to the already gigantic Assassin's Creed: Odyssey world. This time, players get to kill Steropes the Cyclops in a quest named Lightning Bringer. The giant beast will drop a legendary bow when defeated.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey's world is getting bigger with each update as Ubisoft continues to roll out fresh challenges and quests. The arrival of Steropes the Cyclops also know as Lightning Bringer was announced on Twitter and he's free to kill for all players. Also, the quest isn't a timed event so don't worry about missing the clash with the one-eyed giant.

Steropes can be found near a cave, right by Steropes bay on Andros island. Once you get close enough he will emerge. The easiest way to deal with him would be to aim for his eye as it's the most vulnerable point. He's a high-level boss and his last breath will reward you with a legendary weapon - Steropes's bow, which gives a 20 per cent armor and health boost.

The Lightning Bringer quest also brings a new achievement, The Lightning Rod, which will unlock once you kill the mythical creature, but some players did report a bug that unlocked the achievement before they even killed the beast.

Along with the Steropes update, Ubisoft announced some new stuff coming in November. One would be an increased level cap, which will now allow you to reach beyond 50. For those who already hit level 50, the experience they gained after that will be retroactively added to their total once the update hits.

Also, the visual customisation system is planned for a November release. You'll get to change the armor appearance without losing its stats or perks.
