  • Could be released in late 2022 or 2023.

According to the report in Bloomberg, Ubisoft have decided to turn Assassin Creed Valhalla's big expansion into a full, standalone game that will be smaller in scope and focused on stealth gameplay.

The game could be released in late 2022 or 2023 depending on how smoothly the development goes.

As for the location, Ubisoft plan on using Baghdad as the main setting for the game while the story will revolve around Basim Ibn Ishaq, a member of the Hidden Ones who appeared in Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Basim operated during the 9th century, working in foreign nations on behalf of Hidden Ones and Eivor meets him very early in the game.

The details about the game are pretty scarce at the moment, which is understandable, Ubisoft are yet to officially announce it and that's why you should take the report with a grain of salt, until the reveal.

Ubisoft could be announcing the game this summer at their Ubisoft Forward show.
