We're one day away from the new, Bloodhound-flavoured Apex Legends event, and there are still a few questions to be answered. One of them is the location of Bloodhound Town Takeover, and it's almost a confirmation.
The credit for the leak once again goes to Apex Legends data miner going by Twitter name Shrugtal, who has been cracking open Respawn's updates and fining all sorts of goodies lately.
Just to be clear, there is no actual official mention of the location, but there are hints scattered all over. As you can see below, or you will once your eye prioritises the background, there is a distinct silhouette that very much looks like sniper ridge, or sniper mountain, as it's commonly referred to in the community.
While it may not mean much by itself, Apex Legends players who follow Respawn's easter eggs know that this is the same area west of Skyhook that was chosen for the teaser.
You'd think a dead Prowler would be hard to miss, but Apex Legends' team really tucked it away. Heck, you could say it was right at home at the locale, blending in seamlessly into the environment. Well, other than being less lively than the final product, of course.
As for The Old Ways Event, which is scheduled for launch tomorrow, 7 April 2020, Respawn wrote, "Dive into Bloodhound’s Trials, where you and your squad battle against a hoard of prowlers and claim high-tier loot as your reward. But beware the most dangerous game: fellow Legends who want to scavenge those goods for themselves."
As we've come to expect from Apex Legends, there will be plenty of gameplay and cosmetic changes to shake the experience up. You can learn more in The Old Ways announcement .
