Apex Legends is set to launch on the mobile platform by the end of this year, EA CEO Andrew Wilson confirmed. The game should arrive to both Android and iOS.
One of the biggest free to play battle royale games in the world, Apex Legends, has been a major success for both the developer Respawn Entertainment and the publisher EA. The game is played by millions of players worldwide and it receives new content via seasonal updates to keep things fresh and fun.
That's why EA and Respawn revealed their plans to port the game to mobile, both iOS and Android. However, this is yet to happen as the devs are working on optimising the game for mobile but it seems that 2020 is the year when we'll get to play the popular battle royale on our phones.
Speaking on the latest EA fireside chat, CEO Andrew Wilson mentioned that Apex Legends is set for a soft launch on mobile by the end of this year. Check out the important bit below.
Of course, it will probably take some time before the game arrives on mobile but at least we know that EA's plan is to launch the game this year as initially planned. You can probably expect it sometime in Q4 2020 since this period is usually when EA release most of their games.
Apex Legends is available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
