EA revealed the most important details for the upcoming Apex Legends Global Series championship following the playoffs that were held in Europe.
Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Year 2 Championship will be held at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North California. The competition will run from July 7 to 10.
This will also be the first time that ALGS will be held in front of a live audience as esports have been suffering from the same issue most events did in the past two years - the pandemic.
When ALGS arrives to PNC Arena, it will see 40 of the world's top Apex Legend squads from five different regions that will be duking it out in an attempt to claim the lion's share of the $2 million prize pool.
In any case, the details were revealed by EA following the ALGS Split 2 playoffs that were held in Stockholm, Sweden, an event that broke all kinds of viewership records for EA. The playoffs that ended with the finale on May 1 were seen for a collective total of 10.3 million hours, although some of it can be attributed to the fans' desire to see what new content lies in store for them.
