Respawn have rolled out the gameplay trailer for Apex Legends - Season 8: Mayhem, and it's a tad bit more explosive than its predecessors on the account of Fuse, the new legend.
"Fuse arrives in Season 8, and he’s packing plenty of things that go boom. Pick apart the opposition with the lever-action 30-30 Repeater, explore an obliterated Kings Canyon, look out for all-new Gold Magazines, and more. Master the mayhem starting Feb 2", Respawn wrote.
Respawn delivered a traditional explosion fest showing off the brunt of changes coming in Season 8: Mayhem of Apex Legends.
As expected, the lead role is given to the newcomer, Walter "Fuse" Fitzroy, who is quite a mayhem connoisseur, making him a perfect fit for Apex Games.
Along the way you'll spot the 30--30 Repeater, as well as the new, obliterated Kings Canyon, which Respawn explained in full.
The sabotage of Fuse's debut has taken a chunk of the mountainside with it, so Apex Legends players are getting a new playable part of the map.
"The ship itself is a tall, King of the Hill power position with multiple ramps and scaffolds surrounding it to create a jungle gym of interesting gameplay. To the left and right of the ship are multiple ECHO stations that will provide teams plenty of breathing space and loot as they plan their assault on the ship", they wrote.

Apex Legends' new region should also change up the experience of playing in the surrounding areas, as the damage also opened up a back door entrance from the Artillery. The goal was to ease 3rd partying, improve a number of POIs, make looting more deliberate, etc.
