Microsoft didn't manage to impress too many people with the latest Developer Direct where five trailers were shown but none that would cause a hype train.
Microsoft revealed several release dates for video games that are launching mostly in the first half of 2023, including the ones that were missing before.
This is perhaps the highlight of the Xbox showcase that had well-known names like Minecraft and Redfall in it but the heavy hitters along the lines of Starfield are still missing.
There was one surprise announcement though - a non-horror game from a studio known for the genre and it's already out.
Here is a list of all the trailers and release dates shown at Developer Direct 2023:
- Minecraft Legends - April 18, 2023
- Forza Motorsport - Coming 2023
- HiFi Rush - Should be already launched on Xbox and PC
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom - June 5 (PC) and June 20 (Xbox), 2023
- Redfall - May 2, 2023
HiFi Rush is available on Game Pass from the get-go and subscribers can already start downloading it, given the fact the release date is today - January 25, 2023.
Another reveal that may be of interest to the average gamer is that Redfall is releasing on May 2, 2023, meaning we are about four months out from the vampire action.
Forza Motorsport is the only game on the list without a release date but more information is likely to arrive soon as the projected window is still 2023.
