Creative Assembly seem to be excited over mod support coming to A Total War Saga: Troy at least as much as the players, and there are good reasons for that.
When it comes to ancient warfare simulations, not many strategies can hold the candle to Creative Assembly's timeless franchise, which led to many adaptations. In fact, Total War games have been reworked into all sorts of IPs like Lord of the Rings or The Witcher, hence the positive outlook on what the community can and probably will contribute.
"With the introduction of mod support for A Total War Saga: Troy on the Epic Games Store from the 22nd of October, we’re looking forward to seeing all the interesting places our modding community will take the game", the studio wrote.
Come October 22, playing with A Total War Saga: Troy mods will be as simple as selecting a tab on the game's Epic Games Store page.
Creative Assembly are obviously anticipating a burst of creativity from the A Total War Saga: Troy community, and they listed additional tools that will make your mod browsing easier. These are Search Mods, Sort By and Filters utilities, which should make finding mods a breeze.
Finding A Total War Saga: Troy mod of your choice and clicking on it takes you to the mod page, where you can make the final decision.

Activating and deactivating A Total War Saga: Troy mods is done via Creative Assembly's launcher, which starts once you've clicked the game in your Epic Games Store launcher. There you can choose to sort the mods, enable and disable individual packs and so on.
