This series featured a clash between the third and the fourth team in the LCK. KT Rolster were looking to extend their winning streak while on the other side the DragonX squad tried to get back on track after their recent loss against T1.
Both teams drafted a somewhat scaling team composition with strong early game junglers on either side. A team fight around the 9th minute put KT Rolster ahead and they got themselves the Rift Herald. On the other side DragonX stacked three dragons and going into the 20-minute mark, the gold was dead even.
The crucial moment of the game happened in the 24th minute when DragonX found the right team fight and KT's whole team got aced. From that point on the game snowballed in DragonX's favour as they gathered four drakes with the Mountain Soul on top.
An attempt to defend the mid lane turret turned out disastrous for KT and they got wiped once again. With the respawn timers being pretty big, DRX had enough time to destroy every structure in their way, including the Nexus.
Similar to the first game, we didn't get to see too much action at the beginning of the second one either. Dragons and Herald were traded between the two teams.
Going into the mid-game, DRX had a slight gold lead because of all the turret plates they got on the top lane. In the 17th minute, Jarvan landed a five-man Cataclysm on the DRX squad but somehow no casualties were taken on either side on that occasion.
In the 17th minute, Jarvan landed a five-man Cataclysm on the DRX squad but somehow no casualties were taken on either side on that occasion. This prolonged team fight around Dragon once again demonstrated DRX's strong team play as they executed the fight perfectly to the last detail.
From that point on KT tried to climb their way back in the game but DragonX easily repelled each of those attempts. With a 10K gold lead after they took Baron, DragonX stomped their way to KT's Nexus and the match was over.
