There are only two types of collectibles in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the latest survival RPG shooter from GSC Game World, and these are stashes and artefacts. If you discover a PDA or any other document, or some NPC reveals the location of a stash, then they will be shown on the map.
However, the case with artefacts is completely different. Those can be obtained from the anomalies scattered all over Zone, but their location will be revealed only by the scanner.
Once you reach the Detention Centre inside the Garbage area, whether through a quest or by exploring, its basement will be locked, and your scanner will go crazy because of the anomalies there. How to reach the basemant in the Detention Centre
The Detention Centre is located to the east of a broken bridge you crossed when you left the Lesser Zone for the first time. If you don't know its location, check out the map below. Whether you reached this location through the quest or by exploring the zone, if you enter it from its southern side, you'll come across a stairwell that leads upstairs to the second floor or downstairs to the basement.
On the ground floor there, you'll see a small room, like some sort of office, right next to the stairwell. In this room, there is a desk, and if you crouch, you'll see a key. Take this key, go downstairs and unlock the door.
Once inside the basement, hell awaits. stack up on a lot of healing items because you're going to need them. Pull out your scanner and head exactly in the middle of a hallway where there's a lot of burning anomalies. There you'll see the scanner will stop blinking. Turn around and notice an artefact. Pick it up and sprint outside the danger.
As we said earlier, keep an eye on your health and try to wear fire-resistant gear if you own any. Also, if you want, you can exit on a different side of the hallway, but you'll have to pick up another key located on a dead body in the middle of the largest room in the basement. This key will unlock the other door, but if you don't want to, just return the way you entered.
