You won't find many puzzles to solve in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the newest survival RPG shooter from GSC Game World, because this game is as straightforward as it can be when it comes to solving mysteries.
The only puzzles you'll come across will be connected to some stashes, especially if you own the Ultimate Edition of the game and want to chase all Journalist's Stashes, but sometimes some puzzles will be integrated as part of the main mission, as is the case with the Forge of Progress mission.
During this mission, you'll have to solve a puzzle featuring four switches that need to be pressed in the correct order to open the door to the next section. If you're stuck on this puzzle, here is how to solve it.
How to solve the four switches puzzle in Forge of Progress mission
This mission will be given to you once you reach the CIRCAA base by the scientists to see how well you're prepared to deal with the anomalies and mutants. During this testing course, you'll come across a room featuring four switches without a single clue how to solve it.
Solving this puzzle is actually pretty easy; all you need to do is press the buttons in the correct order, but the question arises: which is the correct order? Well, the solution is quite straightforward; just press a button and observe the light above it—if you press the right button, the light above it will turn on.
Now, press the next button, and if the button is correct, go to the next one; if it isn't, all lights will reset, and you'll be forced to try again. If you do not want to guess on your own, here is the correct sequence: From left to right, press the first, third, fourth, and then the second button. Do this, and the door behind the buttons will open.
