Fortnite revolutionized battle royale with innovative in-game mechanics, including building, unique healing mechanisms, and mobility items. Of all the mobility items in Fortnite, the most popular one since the game's launch has been the Launch Pad. The item was first introduced in Fortnite: Save the World, and then it was slowly integrated into Battle Royale's loot pool.
While Launch Pads were initially available as ground or chest loot, which players had to attach to their builds to make faster rotations or for faster traversal, they soon became a stationary mobility structure with the latest updates. Here are the locations of all the launch pads on the current map.
All Launch Pad locations in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
Using launch pads in Fortnite is essential for making early- and late-game rotations without any difficulties. There are countless launch pads on Fortnite's current map. Here's how you can find them:
These launch pads are available in casual and ranked modes for Battle Royale and Zero builds. However, in many previous seasons, players had the option to carry their own launch pads, which were attachable to floor builds, and use them to make quick rotations or for faster traversal through storm circles.
While vehicles remain the better option for faster rotations and quick traversal through the map, in tricky situations, the launch pad can help players aerially escape to higher grounds.
On the current map, there are no launch pads in most regions of the map, as they are prone to seasonal changes. In the previous season, there was a launch pad in the north region of the map; however, it has been removed following the movement of the POI to the southwestern region of the map.
We recommend memorizing the locations of the launch pads to make better rotation strategies and drop plans for the Battle Royale and Zero builds.
