Dungeons of Hinterberg, the latest puzzle-oriented action adventure from Curve Games, features dungeons where you'll face a lot of fighting encounters with lesser enemies and bosses alike, and a lot of puzzles you'll have to solve in order to progress through.
One of the first dungeons you'll have the opportunity to explore is the Abandoned Mineshaft dungeon, and inside it, you'll face an environmental puzzle featuring rail cars and switching rail tracks.
If you're finding this puzzle too difficult for your taste, we've prepared a guide that will lead you through it all the way, step-by-step.
How to solve the rail cars puzzle in the Abandoned Mineshaft dungeon
Proceed through the mine riding car until you arrive to a bigger area where you can see a rail switcher. The first thing you should do is switch the rail to open the right side. Ride the car and go all the way to the end to loot a treasure chest in the next room.
Return to the starting room, switch the rail, opening the left side, and ride the car holding the stick to the left; this will put the car in the right position. Now, switch the rail again and ride it all the way to the left side; this will let you switch the next rail using your chain ability. Do that and return to the starting room.
Now, set the switch to open the right side and ride the car. This time, instead of turning to a room with the chest, you'll go all the way to the Miner's Widow bossroom. This boss can be difficult, but once you learn his moveset, it is nothing special, really. The best way to defeat the boss is to lock on her all the time; do not switch the lock to other enemies she spawns. When she summons a cyclone attack, do not dodge away; just walk to the side, and you'll avoid them efficiently.
Once you see the opening, hit her with the combo of three light and one heavy attack, and back out. Use the exploding ball from time to time to dispatch lesser foes and keep your focus on the boss. After defeating her, stump the book and exit the dungeon.
