You'll come across a lot of side quests in Dungeon of Hinterberg, the latest action RPG from Curve Games, that you'll have to finish to gain some NPCs' favours and unlock some new abilities, sometimes even the new dungeons.
One very interesting NPC sits in front of Hannah's shop and once you approach him, he will shy away. Of course, we're talking about a dog that, even if he looks just like one of many residents of Hinterberg, the truth is that his role is a lot bigger than you might imagine.
However, gaining his trust is not an easy task, and for that to happen, you'll have to bring him his favourite food, strawberries. In this guide, we will show you where those strawberries are located and how to get them.
Where to find strawberries in Dungeon of Hinterberg
Once you interact with the dog, Hannah will tell you to try to find the strawberries to gain his trust. She will also tell you where to look for them, at least in which region, so once this quest starts, go to Hinterwald because strawberries are located in that area.
If this is the first time you visit this area, go to the skill shrine, and after you gain new magic abilities, head southwest over the deadly thorns using the vortex power. Keep heading this way until you reach the Ancient Tree dungeon. As you approach the tree, you'll see an unaccessible ladder to your right that needs to be kicked to make it accessible.
head towards the tree but do not climb it. Instead, go to the right, following black HP bubbles, and use the vortex ability to climb a platform ahead of you. Follow the path, kick a ladder to make a shortcut, loot a chest to your left and continue forward. The strawberries are located at this exact spot.
Once you pick them up, either tackle a dungeon or do any other kind of activity, and once you're done with this area and back to Hinterberg, go to the dog and give him his treat. The dog is extremely useful, and he will help you find some hidden dungeons and even the right path through some tough parts of the game.
