Thanks to Sony's Days of Play mega sale on PlayStation Store, FIFA 19 and Days Gone have remained on first and second place on UK retail sales charts respectively. The highest placing non-PS title is Microsoft's racer Forza Horizon 4.
If you want to boost the sales of your games, just slash the price in half and watch the numbers skyrocket. This was the case with last week's Days of Play sale on PlayStation Store, which helped PlayStation 4 titles dominate the UK physical sales charts in the week ending on Saturday, 15 June 2019.
Just like last week, EA's football simulation FIFA 19 is on the throne, while Bend Studio's zombie survival Days Gone follows closely on second place. The footy title even saw a huge 53 per cent boost in sales week-on-week and it already saw an 18 per cent rise in the previous week.
As for Days Gone, the game's sales saw a 35 per cent lift in sales when compared to the previous week.
The third place is reserved for another PlayStation 4 exclusive. It's Marvel's Spider-man that also retains its spot from the previous week with a 45 per cent rise in sale numbers. All in all, a pretty good week for Sony's exclusives.
As for the rest of the top 10 list, Forza Horizon 4 is the first non-PlayStation title on the list. The game took fourth place after an impressive 88 per cent rise in sales which helped Microsoft's racer to re-enter the chart from 12th position.
The rest of the list includes the usual suspects like Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V while EA's Anthem also managed to re-enter the list from 14th place.
The full chart is below but keep in mind that it only shows physical sales, which can be a bit misleading as digital versions are a more popular choice for gamers these days.
