Gearbox Software released a cosplay guide for each of the four Vault Hunters from Borderlands 3, revealing more background and action skills in the process. Zane and Amara were already revealed, but we got info on FL4K and Moze now.
Borderlands 3 has already offered some insight into Amara and Zane but Moze and FL4K were mostly a mystery until Gearbox released the cosplay guides for each Vault Hunter.
From the quick description, it was easy to see FL4K is an AI that tends to attract wildlife and refers to itself in plural, totally not looking like a mashup of Legion from Mass Effect series and Bastion from Overwatch. It will be accompanied by Skag, Jabber and Spiderant pets, or animal companions.
Likewise, more of Moze's background was revealed. She used to be a soldier in Vladof army, a member of the Ursa Corps, but eventually left in order to pursue a life of adventure as a mercenary and a Vault Hunter. When she gets cornered, she calls upon her Iron Bear mech that certainly carries some resemblance to Cherno Alpha from Pacific Rim.
Other than that, it might be an interesting note that she effectively replaced Gaige as the Mechromancer for the newest instalment of Borderlands.
As we previously mentioned, Gearbox already revealed some of Zane's past, like the fact that he attended the same assassin school as Zer0 or that his last name is Flynt. As many fans suspected, the new background details confirmed he is actually related to Captain Flynt from Borderlands 2 but it appears they don't share much of that bandit-like mentality.
He is simply a mercenary, or an assassin when the need arises, for the highest bidder. It appears that Zane has experienced conflicts all over the galaxy.
Amara's past was pretty obvious from before - she is a Vault Hunter now but she grew up in a harsh place which prompted her to learn to defend herself. She took it one step further and feels most at home when brawling with someone, which was quite evident from her powers.
