The Outer Worlds was outsold only by CoD: Modern Warfare in October 2019 in USA

The Outer Worlds was confirmed as commercial success by Take-Two Interactive already but the combination of digital and physical sales in the US market sheds more light on that success. Obsidian's RPG is second only to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

The Outer Worlds is an RPG and it was to be expected players would try using inappropriate names and Obsidian sought to put an end to this before it began. However, the name filter turned out to be less than reliable, banning words in several languages but not necessarily in English.

Monster Hunter: World - Iceborne coming to PC on 9 January 2020

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners were treated to Monster Hunter: World's expansion Iceborne in September and Capcom now revealed that the PC edition is coming to Steam on 9 January 2020 with all the bells and whistles you'd expect on PC.

Leonard Boyarsky, Tim Cain, Activision, a new RPG and a blockbuster title have a not-so-great point in history. Considering their The Outer Worlds is coming out on the same day as Activision's CoD: Modern Warfare, RPG's potential success could send a powerful message to the publisher.
