Goku is undoubtedly the most popular Dragon Ball character but Bandai Namco may be overdoing it in Dragon Ball FighterZ as they decided to add another one to the future roster. This time around, it is Kid Goku from Dragon Ball GT.

V-Jump's latest issue apparently revealed that Kid Goku will be joining Dragon Ball FighterZ roster soon, before Bandai Namco officially announced it, as per usual. While some of his moves were revealed, there is no ETA on Kid Goku and the character pricing will likely remain the same as before.

Gematsu caught wind of the story and relayed some info on Kid Goku. He will have a special move, Super Kamehameha, which will transform him into Super Saiyan 3, provided that one or both of his teammates were knocked out.

Kid Goku will have Meteor special attacks such as Super Spirit Bomb and another one that is apparently a hidden attack so there is currently no info on it. There is a mention of Power Pole and Reverse Kamehameha in Kid Goku's move set hinting he will be relying on his pole as well.

Some Dragon Ball fans may have favourite heroes that aren't kind-hearted aloof Super Saiyans, but there is no doubt that Goku is the most popular one and he is often a synonym for Dragon Ball. Still, considering that Dragon Ball FighterZ already features base form Goku, Super Saiyan Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Goku, one could easily think Bandai Namco are overdoing it with this character.

On the bright side for those who want to see more variation, most of the Season 2 pass is already filled as Jiren, Videl, Gogeta and Broly already occupied some of those limited DLC character slots.

V-Jump usually provides the first glimpse of Dragon Ball FighterZ characters but Bandai Namco's official announcements follow soon enough so we can expect to see Kid Goku in action rather soon.
