Bandai Namco revealed another fighter from FighterZ Pass 3 and it was quite the surprise as Dragon Ball's resident pervert hopped onto the screen with his signature tricks.
Despite not always being on the roster of the strongest fighters in Dragon Ball universe, Master Roshi is definitely one of the most iconic ones to see as he was around practically from the beginning when he took Krillin and Goku as his students. While those two were kids, his power even exceeded theirs for a time but since Dragon Ball Z, he started being more of an observer as opposed to a powerful presence.
Still, his age and ridiculous power levels the other fighters reached didn't stop Roshi from being chosen as one of Universe 7's fighters in Tournament of Power. Since that seems to be the theme of FighterZ Pass 3, it definitely makes sense to see Roshi joining the roster in September 2020.
He is the third fighter from the pass to be revealed, preceded by Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku. Furthermore, his appearance matches that from the Tournament of Power saga.
The gameplay shows him battling Piccolo, which is reminiscent of their sort of shared past, since he battled Piccolo's previous incarnation and used Evil Containment Wave almost successfully.
This time around, the old Turtle Hermit didn't miss and you can see it animated in full glory in the trailer above.
