Microsoft has once again opened Xbox’s doors for Free Play Days, letting users play a handful of games for free this weekend. This week’s featured games are Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Diablo IV, both of which are available free of charge to all Xbox gamers.
The rest of the line-up includes Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure for Game Pass subscribers, Demonschool, and The Stone of Madness as free timed trials.
As is typical during these promotions, any progress, achievements, and Gamerscore that players earn will carry forward should you elect to buy the game before the Free Play Days wraps up.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 heads up the event this week, offering Multiplayer and Zombies free-to-play to everyone from 2 July through 6 July. The trial lets you play through more than 45 multiplayer maps, as well as Season 4 content and fan favorite modes. A brand-new round- based Zombies map is also featured.
Diablo IV will also be available to all players until 7 July, letting everyone see Blizzard’s action RPG up close and personal up to level 30. The trial gives you access to the new Season of Death Awakening. Whatever character progress you make will carry forward with purchase of the full game. For anyone interested in picking it up, the Standard Edition is $49.99, but is 40% off during Free Play Days, dropping the price to $29.99.
Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential will be able to play Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure for free until 5 July as well. If you’re looking for a game to pick up after your adventure is complete, it’s currently available at a discount of 50% off. Demonschool and The Stone of Madness are available as free two-hour trials until 5 July.
Demonschool merges tactical RPG fighting and monster battling with the mysteries of university life as a supernatural student. The Stone of Madness puts you in control of a stealth-centric journey through the halls of an ancient 18th century monastery.
The games are available for download directly through the Xbox Store on console or at Xbox. com. As is usual with events like this, select titles are available at a discounted price as well.
