World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth is trying to take the game back to its roots and bring back the global glory it once had. Blizzard are letting the beast off the proverbial chains as nostalgia fueled pre-purchases are now available.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth can now be pre-purchased, both in physical and digital forms. If you want a physical copy, you can only pick it up at select . It may be note worthy you are not going to get an actual disc, but a digital code inside the box. This pretty much makes this buying method obsolete unless the box contains some World of Warcraft swag.

If you want to get the digital version, you can do it the old-fashioned way in  shop. Both versions will grant you the same perks - a level 110 boost and probably an early access to the expansion, like in all previous expansions. The fact that you can pre-load the expansion once you apply the code to your Battle.net account pretty much guarantees the early access.

In order to recruit the Void Elves and other minor races you will have to do a quest, where King Brad Pitt will give you a generic monologue about how Alliance suffered many losses during the war with the Legion. But since there are no more demon conquerors left to fight,  you need to recruit more dummies to die in another war with the Horde.

If by some chance you're not aware, you will not be able to make a Void Elf character until you complete their recruitment quest. Same goes for the other races, except Horde players will not have to listen to young Brad Pitt since their leader is Sylvannas.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth will be released on or before 21 September 2018 but the date serves as a potential deadline for pre-purchasing and getting that level 110 boost. Six months is plenty of time to watch footage and decide if the expansion will be worth your time.
