Bandai Namco have revealed that Witcher's blade wielding protagonist Geralt is set to strut his stuff in their upcoming title Soulcalibur VI, prompting the masses to go wild seeing as how nobody saw it coming, yet it made perfect sense.
Bandai Namco's fighting game Soulcalibur VI is marking its 20th anniversary and what better way to celebrate than by adding the Butcher of Blaviken. In case you know Geralt only as the White Wolf, then you may want to look into his other, ahem, endeavours.
Geralt will have his steel and silver swords, made of "finest quality alloys", Bandai Namco said. We wonder how one tests the quality of alloys in games?

The Witcherminator will also have a bunch of Signs, "from Aard to Igni", which expands Geralt's arsenal further. Apparently, each sign will serve as a strategic platform for pawning them noobs or just starting a combo.
Bandai Namco added that adding Geralt felt pretty natural, seeing as how the Gwynbleidd spent his life hunting monsters. In a way, you could say he's a Monster Hunter.
On a side note, we wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see Geralt visit Monster Hunter: World in the future. Naturally, I could be dead wrong as well, but cross-game content seems to be all the rage these days.

Seeing as how we're not talking about a game made by CD Projekt Red, you can expect Geralt to look exactly as announced, without any lies, scams and graphics downgrades. Don't worry though, we're sure that the Red guys will treat us to some more of their magic down the road.
Alas, this Witcher-endowed iteration of the Soulcalibur franchise, the Soulcalibur VI, is coming to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox one sometime in 2018. Now let's get those blades sharpened.
