Anyway, the job listings reveal that WB Games San Diego's new project is an exciting new AAA, free-to-play game, which is targeting several platforms including the brand new consoles - PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Additionally, it seems that the game will have a cross-platform play and it's built on Unreal Engine 4 with Amazon GameLift tech. In case you are not familiar with this service, it basically helps developers deploy, operate and scale dedicated game servers for session-based multiplayer games. Many big game developers and publishers like Ubisoft and Bethesda use the service for online multiplayer.
There's also a brief mention of balanced abilities and move sets across multiple characters so it's safe to say that we're looking at some sort of hero action title.
