According to the latest job listings on WB Games' official website, San Diego studio are working on a brand new project, which will be free-to-play AAA game with multiplayer elements.

Warner Bros. Games have put a dozen new job listings over on their official website. The publisher are hiring for a new project, which is helmed by their San Diego Studio. The listings reveal a bunch of details about the game, which will seemingly be a free-to-play experience, which is not surprising since Warner Bros. are expected to push live service model in their future games.

Anyway, the job listings reveal that WB Games San Diego's new project is an exciting new AAA, free-to-play game, which is targeting several platforms including the brand new consoles - PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Additionally, it seems that the game will have a cross-platform play and it's built on Unreal Engine 4 with Amazon GameLift tech. In case you are not familiar with this service, it basically helps developers deploy, operate and scale dedicated game servers for session-based multiplayer games. Many big game developers and publishers like Ubisoft and Bethesda use the service for online multiplayer.

There's also a brief mention of balanced abilities and move sets across multiple characters so it's safe to say that we're looking at some sort of hero action title. Last but not least, the game will have frequent live game events and store offers while the studio will try to bring some of the most iconic characters and stories to life in free-to-play games.
