Ubisoft have today revealed a brand new online PvE mode for Watch Dogs Legion called Legion of the Dead. The new mode will officially launch tomorrow with the Title Update 4.5.
Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead is a brand-new online PvE mode coming in the Title Update 4.5 tomorrow. The mode is currently in the Alpha phase, which is a bit odd given that its release date is imminent but hey, things can get a bit confusing with Ubisoft from time to time.
Anyway, the new mode is described as "a rogue-lite experience where players will have to Survive-as-Anyone against the looming threat of the undead and hostile living roaming the re-imagined fallen city of London".
You can play solo or with up to four pals in co-op mode. Ubisoft say players will need to work on their strategy as they try to reach the extraction points for each run as they gather as many supplies as they can along the way. Sounds like The Division's Dark Zone to anyone?
As expected, a wide arsenal of abilities will be available for players such as the Bee Swarm to unleash on enemies, the AR Cloak to escape threats and a Combat Spider-Bot equipped with a turret for cover. This brand new mode, Watch Dogs Legion Of The Dead, hits the PC platform users tomorrow while the release date for consoles is yet to be confirmed.
