Nacon and Eko Software announced the Slayer Edition for Warhammer: Chaosbane which will bring a new class, the Witch Hunter, included in the edition or sold as DLC for some platforms.
Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are getting Warhammer: Chaosbane - Slayer Edition on 12 or 19 November 2020, depending on the availability date per country.
This edition will include all the DLC from Chaosbane along with the additional content such as Keela, the Tower of Chaos and the upcoming Witch Hunter class. Furthermore, this version of the game will support 4K with 60 FPS target performance but it remains to be seen whether this will be a stable FPS mark or all the games coming to new generation of consoles will deliver "up to 60 FPS".
Anyway, the Slayer edition will be exclusive to the next-gen consoles it seems while the current-gen and PC can get the Witch Hunter as paid DLC. One point of contention may be the fact that this class costs $9.99 / €9.99 with the edition that includes the class and all other paid DLC just around the corner.
One thing to keep in mind about Warhammer: Chaosbane is that the game will support co-op of up to four players, local or online, meaning it could provide some interesting couch parties.
You can preview the new class in the trailer below.
