Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus is in development by Bulwark Studios and they have released the first teaser trailer for the game along with bits of information about what we can expect from the game once it is released.

Bulwark Games have dropped a teaser trailer for their upcoming strategy title Warhammer 40K: Mechanicus. The trailer popped up with the announcement on the game's community site promising something that 40K haven't experienced before outside of tabletop - commanding the the armies of Adeptus Mechanicus. No, mods don't count.

You will assume the role of Magos Dominus Faustinius of Mars and command the Adeptus Mechanicus forces in a way uncommon to the previous 40K games. The decisions you make will have impact on future missions during the campaign and will impact your and your team's future. This adds more RPG elements to the mix, and the non linear progression will make a debut in the setting. As far as the team members' fates go, there was a somewhat similar system in Dawn of War 2, where the ending would be decided on the level of Chaos your team has accumulated.

As seen in the picture above and described on the community site, your Adeptus Mechanicus units will be highly customizable in order to prevail in different hostile situations. Adeptus Mechanicus are the most technologically advanced branch of the Imperium's army and their own members are outfitted with an unparalleled amount of bionic enhancements.

The early glimpse at the game's features mentions the previously non-linear campaign progression, a hint of exploration through your units' ability to scan their surroundings and a strong, immersive story for the campaign.
