Riot has already released the official anthem for the VCT and the way for the fans to tune in through the game. The only thing left is the themed, unique skin that gets released once every year.
The 2020 VCT skin was a Vandal, the 2021 skin was a Phantom and knife and the 2022 skin was just a knife. This year, the players were excited to see a shiny Operator skin but while some were a little disappointed, others were happy to see another stunning Vandal and slightly underwhelming knife that will have the combined features of the 2021 and 2022 knives.
Riot has taken to the official Valorant social media accounts to announce that the VCT Champions 2023 skin will be going live on Friday, August 4.
The skin will be available for a limited amount of time, meaning that once it is removed from the store, it will no longer be available for purchase in the normal market or the night market.
The Vandal will gain an upgrade that is visible immediately after every 3 kills and will display a stage-like finisher once the player gets the final kill in the round.
Vielding the gun while standing on the stage finisher and inspecting it will give the gun a unique inspect animation that will make any player feel like an Esports pro.
