Riot has introduced Premier as a tournament game mode in Valorant that is still in beta testing and the matches use the same in-game rules as Competitive, but with a focus on top-tier competition and playing together as one squad throughout a tournament structure, including additional features taken from pro play such as map pick/ban phases.
At its highest level, it will serve as a direct connection from the player base to the professional scene. Premier allows players to build a full team together and join a division, where they will compete across a season made up of a mix of weekly matches and tournaments.
Each season lasts for a few weeks, after which the best-performing teams can qualify for a playoff tournament to claim the title of Division Champion.
The video has a funny twist to it where plays from all ranks can be seen. The twist is the fact that plays that rarely work are portrayed and for some reason, the players still try them even in the "competitive scene".
So far, a video similar to this one had not been created or released so this one was in a way refreshing to watch due to it being relatable to the whole player base in all ranks and not just to the professional and high elo players.
Premier is a fun way for players to take their skills out for a spin and see how strong they are and if they would stand a chance in the competitive scene of Valorant.
