Ubisoft's subscription service Ubisoft+ could be available to all Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S owners very soon, judging by a new "Ubisoft+ tag" on the Xbox store.

Remember the Ubisoft+ on Xbox consoles announcement? Yeah, it's been a while since we first heard about that. Over the last twelve months, both Ubisoft and Xbox have been pretty quiet about that but it seems something is brewing and we could see the subscription service arrive to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles very soon.

As spotted by TrueAchievements , certain Ubisoft games on the Xbox store have a special Ubisoft+ tag that reads "with your Ubisoft+ membership" once you dig a bit deeper into the Microsoft Store backend.

This pretty much means that the Ubisoft+ launch on Xbox is imminent and with Xbox Developer Direct coming later this month, we wouldn't be surprised if Xbox is saving the announcement for that occasion.

According to the report, a total of 24 Ubisoft games have the social Ubisoft+ tag on the Xbox store including Far Cry 6, Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion among other popular titles and DLC.

Ubisoft+ will be a separate subscription service that Xbox users will be able to purchase in addition to Xbox Game Pass.

We did hear some rumours a while ago that the Ubisoft+ basic tier could be part of the Xbox Game Pass but so far, there is no confirmation that such an addition to Game Pass is on the way.

All in all, we hope to hear more official information about this one soon as it's been quite the wait for Xbox players ever since that announcement last year.
