Uplay+ is Ubisoft's subscription service

According to the latest rumour, which surfaced over on Twitter a couple of days ago, Ubisoft's subscription service Ubisoft+ could be coming to Xbox Game Pass in 2021.

Microsoft already promised to expand their mega-popular subscription service Xbox Game Pass in 2021 with new surprises. At the time of writing, the tech giant are yet to reveal what games will be coming to Game Pass subscribers but it's safe to expect some pretty big announcements.

Many rumours regarding the Xbox Game Pass additions have been floating around the social media and gaming forums for quite some time now. And today, we have another such rumour, which states that Xbox Game Pass is set to become richer for Ubisoft's subscription service Ubisoft+.

Ubisoft+ is basically the publisher's own Game Pass version, offering you access to Ubisoft’s catalogue of 100+ games, including new releases. So yeah, if you are a fan of Ubisoft's games and play their new titles regularly, then Ubisoft+ is probably a good deal at €14.99 a month.

While it's certainly possible that such service could be coming to Xbox Game Pass in EA Play-style, you should take the rumour with a huge grain of salt, since it's not coming from a reliable insider. We somehow doubt that Ubisoft would release their games day one on Game Pass but stranger things have happened in the gaming industry, that's for sure.

If we have to guess, we would say Ubisoft will probably offer a slightly cheaper version of their subscription service, without day one releases, which would be perfect for Game Pass.
