CD Projekt has officially detailed the PC system requirements for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered. You can now see what it'll take to run CD Projekt's enhanced version of its award-winning RPG ahead of its release later this year. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will need a fairly recent PC, as Windows 11 along with an SSD and DirectX 12 support are listed as minimum requirements.
Minimum specs include 12GB of RAM and a GPU like the GTX 1660 or Radeon RX 5500 XT. Gamers who want to run the game at recommended specs will need 16GB of RAM and significantly more powerful hardware.
70GB of SSD storage is also required to play. Windows 11 is the required OS for both minimum and recommended system requirements.

It also states that the game requires Windows 11, an SSD and DirectX 12.
Graphics-wise, it's clear the recommended requirements suggest that the game will place more load on your GPU than its predecessor did. Both RTX 20SUPER and RX 6600 XT cards vastly outclass minimum-spec GTX 16XT and RX 5500 XT cards.
On top of that, an SSD is required as well, with 70GB of space needed. Hopefully, this means the remaster will benefit from quicker loading times as you traverse its enhanced vistas.
